
The Hive Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of The Hive, including the web application, inbound SMS intake workflow, inbound email workflow, and related recruiting data tools.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing the service, or using the SMS or email intake workflows, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use The Hive.
Eligibility and Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate account and profile information, including a valid mobile phone number if you want to use SMS intake.
- We may suspend or terminate access if account information is false, misleading, unauthorized, or used in violation of these terms.
Permitted Use
The Hive is intended for lawful recruiting, scouting, player evaluation, and internal workflow operations.
- You may use the service to log notes, manage player contact context, review recruiting information, and send inbound note submissions through approved channels.
- You may not use the service to send spam, harass individuals, violate carrier rules, submit unlawful content, or interfere with the operation or security of the service.
- You may not use the SMS intake number for bulk promotional messaging or any use outside the registered campaign purpose.
User Content and Permissions
You retain responsibility for the content you submit to the service, including recruiting notes, uploaded information, and messages sent by SMS or email.
- You represent that you have the right to submit the information you provide.
- You grant us the rights necessary to host, store, process, format, and display that content to operate the service.
AI Features
Certain workflows use AI-assisted extraction to transform inbound messages into structured recruiting records. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, or ambiguous.
You are responsible for reviewing important player, contact, NIL, and recruiting information before taking action based on system output.
SMS Program Terms
- SMS messages are transactional and operational. They may include clarification questions, note confirmations, and account-setup or authorization notices.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the service.
- Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE and can request help by replying HELP.
- SMS access may be blocked unless your mobile number is on file and verified for your account.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of outputs to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising out of or related to the service. Our total liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for the service, or used the service in a way that conflicts with applicable law or messaging compliance obligations.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date above. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
